WHAT IS RODEO CINEMA FOUNDATION?

Rodeo Cinema Foundation is our not-for-profit organization. In 2018, Clark Wiens, founder of Tulsa’s Circle Cinema, brought together a group of dedicated cinephiles and community leaders to establish the foundation.

Today, the organization is centered around the historic Rodeo Cinema in the Stockyards district of Oklahoma City—a 1924 picture house that serves as both a cinema and a live entertainment venue.

Rodeo Cinema Foundation is committed to preserving this historic space while creating a unique, welcoming experience for film lovers and the community alike.

Rodeo Cinema in the Stockyards is a historic 1924 picture house and live entertainment venue offering a wide variety of films, music, and special events. We’ve got something for everyone: narrative features, old favorites, documentaries, classics, comedies, work from local filmmakers, live music, interactive shadow casts, and much more.

Doors open 60 minutes before the day’s first screening and close 60 minutes after the last screening. We recommend arriving 60 minutes early for special events to enjoy the full experience.

DO YOU SELL FOOD?

Rodeo Cinema offers traditional movie theatre snacks, such as popcorn, candy, and soft drinks.

We also offer locally sourced beer, soda, and wine. We’ve got you covered.

PARKING

The Rodeo Cinema has ample street parking, a lot behind the theatre, and parking on the northwest corner of the intersection of Exchange and Agnew.

All sales are final—no refunds or exchanges. Please check the location and showtime before checking out.

I Have an Old Membership - What Do I Do?

THANK YOU for supporting us! Please, email us at info@rodeocinema.org, and we will transfer your existing membership into our new program.

I am a Member - How do I Login?

Easy! If you are an existing member, when you’ve selected the movie you want to attend, click the Sign In/Register link at the top of the page. Be sure to use the same email address used to create your membership; if you have trouble accessing your account (or can’t quite remember which email address you used – it happens), email us at info@rodeocinema.org or show up to the theater! Once signed in, the system automatically applies your membership benefits to your ticket purchase! Woo Hoo!

Covid Safety & Precautions

We’re taking precautions to keep you safe! We follow the CinemaSafe program’s protocols and all local and state guidelines. All of our theatres have advanced bi-polar ionization filtration systems, regular seat cleaning, and sterilization, plus there is room to spread out in each theatre.

Child Restrictions & Guidelines

No one under 17 will be allowed to purchase tickets to rated R movies.

Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Children 12 and under are not permitted at screenings after 8:00 pm.

Select screenings will be open to parents with infants and toddlers.

General Rules & Regulations

No entrance to the theaters without a ticket
No talking, texting, or cellphone use in the theaters
No recording or photography during movies
No feet on the seat backs or armrests
Patrons must wear shirts & shoes
No outside food or beverage in the building
No pets are allowed in the theatres except during pet-friendly events
No solicitation
No smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes
No alcohol is permitted outside the building
No weapons of any kind or objects that appear to be weapons (including props, squirt guns, etc.) in the building
No distribution of literature, conducting of surveys, engaging in protest, or solicitation without prior permission from theatre management
No threatening of any person, whether patron or theatre staff
No other items or behaviors that staff determines as harmful or disruptive

Accessibility

All of our theaters have designated wheelchair seating
Assistive listening and closed captioning devices are available
